In short, one can only recommend Mr. Feldkamp.
After I came across unfriendly office staff and outdated methods (textbooks for 50 €, clean) at other driving schools here in Mülheim (greetings go to the big one with three locations), I went to Feldkamp, also because it was just around the corner .
Certainly not the cheapest driving school in the area, but, in my opinion, the best. I did my BF17 and my A2 here and will probably do my A and possibly BE here soon.
Feldkamp is personable and extremely competent. He adapts well to the learner drivers and keeps a cool head, explains errors well and remains objective. Dealing with Mr. Feldkamp is rather collegial and relaxed, which only promotes learning.
At first I seemed unsuitable for a motorcycle license, as a quad rider you transfer things to the motorcycle that don't work that way. Despite two falls at low speed, Mr. Feldkamp had the patience to train me for the A2 driving license. Thanks again for that.
Regarding the prices: Certainly not cheap, but cheap. Unbeatable for the service you get. Before my practical exam (both of them), Feldkamp took the time to go through basic things again and put in practical lessons. Sometimes his working day started at 7 on the weekend, which is always the case, I don't know.
If you have driven less, regardless of whether it was due to a delay on your part, the weather or something else, Feldkamp also bills less - as it should be, but is not everywhere. If you've forgotten the money, that's no problem either, then you'll just pay next time, as long as it doesn't become a habit.
Driving lessons that are not fully completed will not be paid in full. A small example:
First ride with the motorcycle in the port area, pick up the motorcycle, load / unload, ride the motorcycle, drive back. Time of two hours, only the trip was paid. It's not uncommon. You only pay as much as you drove and if you rescheduled to drive more, you only pay the agreed time.
One could go on to explain how it pays to take that little extra money into your own hands and receive modern (even in modern vehicles), personable and excellent driver training, but that would go beyond the scope. Everyone should rather get an idea of it for themselves. The references to Feldkamp's website alone, which explain what to look out for in driving schools, without advertising or selling anything, speak for him.
A very good driving school, couldn't have asked for a better one. I can't understand the bad reviews at all!
Before judging, you should get an idea of yourself and if you want to be treated with respect, you have to be respectful of it.
Mr. Feldkamp is a very nice driving instructor and his driving lessons are really educational. Mr. Feldkamp organizes the theory lessons in such a way that it never gets boring.
At the end of the day you take a lot with you.
An honest & competent driving instructor. I can't complain, it was a wonderful and funny time.
Price-performance ratio just great !!
I can only recommend!!
First of all I would like to say that the 1 ☆ ratings are very questionable ?!
Were these people really in the Feldkamp driving school? I can hardly imagine.
Maybe it's more like yelling into the forest ...
If you want to be treated respectfully, you should first show your counterpart the necessary respect!
As a further foreword I would like to say that I have had my driver's license for a long time and am therefore not a newcomer. The motorcycle was luring, so I looked for a driving school nearby.
A phone call in the afternoon (very nice by the way) and the first theory lesson that same evening. I call that spontaneous.
The Feldkamp driving school is well equipped with a projector, etc.
Nibbles (packed) on the tables are standard and encourage relaxation in class.
Mr. Feldkamp is an absolutely friendly guy and really teaches you what you need to know, plus a number of tips and tricks during the driving lessons as well as during the theory.
I was also able to get an idea of Ulrich Feldkamp in a personal conversation. Open, very honestly competent and always ready for a joke.
Even at well over 30 ° on the motorcycle, He won't let you down and offers something to drink in between! He is really willing to help whenever there is a need! A person with heart and brain, rare these days.
Personally, I really liked it.
Thanks, and who knows ... maybe again soon;)
I started my motorcycle driving license last year in another driving school. Hours later I was still really stuck and I was also afraid of driving. I was about to give up everything.
By chance I came across this driving school this year because it is one of the few that has a suitable machine for me (I'm only 1.59m tall and most motorcycles are too big for me). It was the best thing that could have happened to me. After the first 30 minutes I learned more about riding a motorcycle than I did in the old driving lesson. But above all, Ulrich managed to take my fear away. My old driving instructor always said "if you fall over, you have to pay for the repair!". I was naturally very tense. When I told Ulrich that, he just shook his head and said I shouldn't worry about it. It is important that nothing happens to me, the motorcycle does not matter.
He corrected my driving style so much that my old driving instructor never commented on it and that made me finally feel safe driving.
I was in the old driving school from May to September and did not do a special trip and was totally unsure and shaky on the motorcycle.
Despite a full-time job, I only needed 6 weeks at Ulrich and have had my driver's license in my hand since yesterday.
I can only recommend everyone to get their driver's license here
I am very grateful to Ulrich for everything!
Mr. Feldkamp is a very personable driving instructor. That is my impression after various consultations. Today I signed a training contract for class A (motorcycle) u. looking forward to our cooperation. The Feldkamp driving school is also number 1 in terms of prices compared to two other driving schools in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
