I had really excellent experience with the driving school. My driving instructor was Christian Krieger he was the number one choice because he knows his job very well. He created a smooth atmospher while practice so that I had lots of fun during the practice. He is very patient and helps in teaching the concepts very well. On the class before my practical test, he made me feel very confident, so the actual test went very well. He offered me the number of the classes as it was needed to get confident to go to the exam. Definitely will recommend Krieger driving school and possibly Christian as the instructor :-)
I had a positive experience here overall and I passed the driving test (and theory) on my first attempt. :D For the theory, I bought an app, studied the 1100 questions for several months and then took the theory test. I have a USA driver's License for automatic cars but there are so many little differences to driving in Germany, many things I did not realize until I was behind the wheel and on the road. My first day in the car (a new Audi with many new features) was stressful! The driving instructor did her best to put me at ease but learning to drive a stick shift, plus navigating Munich's small streets, plus remembering all the rules from the theory questions, took some getting used to. And this is all on top of driving a car with someone (the instructor) whose job is to critique and help make me a better driver, it was a little nerve wracking. :s The early appointments were full of lots of learning. After about 2-3 weeks with 2 appointments/wk, I was much more used to the instructor, the car, and Munich. What helped me the most was: listening to the instructor, remaining calm at all times (this is probably the MOST important), re-watching the theory videos, and on the weekends I would get in the car with someone else driving and tryout techniques like looking over my shoulder for bikes when turning and reading all the signs at the start of every street. The best advice I can offer is, the instructor is going to push you to be as good as possible, don't take their critiques personal (as is so easy to do when its about driving abilities) but just remember they only want to prepare you as best as possible for the test so there are as little surprises as possible during the exam from the test examiner or otherwise. Also, it's not recommended but a few days before my exam, I read up on what experiences other test takers had across Germany in their practical exam.
Being a foreigner in Munich I was not sure about driving license process and was afraid of not making it given the feedback I received from other foreigners. However my experience with Fahrschule Krieger was a pleasant surprise. They guided me throughout very well. Especially the practical lessons from Marina really helped me smoothly complete my training and to get driving license in my first attempt. I suggest Krieger to everyone especially foreigners based on my very good experience.
I had really good experience with the driving school. The team is the best, with helping out in all the paper works in the initial application. They supported to clear the theory exam well. I had Mr. Christian Krieger as my driving practice instructor, and he knows his job very well. More than just being a trainer, he was a good mentor, who guided me through all the tips and things to bear in mind while driving on German roads. He is very patient and helps in teaching the concepts very well. On the class before my practical test, he made me feel very confident about myself and my driving, so the actual test was just an easy thing to do. He offered me just the needed number of classes, nothing more, nothing less. Definitely will recommend Krieger driving school.
My experience was excellent here. I will totally recommend. They were very professional explained step by step to get the necessary approval documents and all I need to do. Especially many thanks to my instructor, Marina she was so kind, patient, and careful. She always supported me told me many helpful tips to pass the practical test. She knew exactly when I was ready to take the exam. And yes I got it... The German Driving license in my first time test.
