You are only allowed to drive so fast that you can come to a stop within your field of vision. In a normal braking action at a speed of 50 km/h, the stopping distance is 40 meters. Therefore, you must not drive faster than 50 km/h here. Stopping distance = reaction distance + braking distance [(Speed in km/h : 10) x 3] + [(Speed in km/h : 10) x (Speed in km/h : 10)]
